SignEasy: How to Sign Documents on Your iPhone

sign-documentsIf you are tired of having hundreds of papers on the table without any organization and many pending signing without a doubt, it is best to use an application to easily perform this task with the iPhone or iPad. SignEasy is an application that can be found in the App Store compatible with iPhone and iPad and that has caught our attention for the way of organizing documents and especially is ideal for small and medium businesses.

Organize all your documents on the iPhone with SignEasy

Upon entering the application we must register with our email or using Google or Facebook. It is important that if you run a company, make sure that all employees have an account to be able to exchange documents in a much more efficient way to make the signature.

Once we enter we see a tab at the bottom that is called ‘Documents’. Here all the PDF files that we have stored in the application will be grouped . Something that seems extremely interesting to us is that at the bottom we see different categories: ‘Signed’, ‘Draft’ and ‘Pending’. In this way we can have a good organization depending on whether the document is pending signature or already signed. At the top we observe a search change so that we can filter the documents by name or signers in a simple way.

In the ‘My library’ section we have the documents that we have imported into the application and that we have not yet classified. We can import documents from several sites on our iPhone such as Evernote, iCloud and even incorporates a scanner so that with a simple photograph you can upload a physical document to the application.

Upon entering one of these documents we will see a preview and at the bottom the option ‘Sign’. Clicking on it will open a drop-down menu with three options:

  • ‘Sign it yourself’: In this case you will only sign you and nobody else.
  • ‘Sign in person’ : If you are in a meeting, people who are physically with you can sign the document simply with a gesture.
  • ‘Request signature’: If the person who must stamp your signature is not in the office, you can select this option and you will send an email to the interested party with the document so he can sign it when he can. These documents will be classified as ‘Pending’ in the previous tab so that we can have control of the status of the document.

We have many options to sign a document, being able to make a drawing on the iPhone or iPad itself, and even include our own initials among many other free choice features. If it is true that there are some important limitations in the basic version , but if you do not usually sign a lot you will not need to upgrade to the Premium version. But if, as I mentioned above, you have a small or medium-sized company, you will undoubtedly be interested in paying the monthly subscription in order to have access to all the functions granted by this application.

With the Premium version, which costs € 11.49 per month we can have unlimited documents, compatibility with Face ID or Touch ID, legally binding audit trails, custom footer, offline mode and integration with the cloud. There is another superior plan that allows you to send unlimited documents and also have access to reusable templates.
