Almost all of the 2021 cards are still face down. It is true that we have attended some important presentations such as the Galaxy S21, but we will still have to know the main bets of the brands, even in the lower price ranges. This time it was Realme that made a move, with the presentation of the new Realme C20 , a very economical terminal.
The entry range offers the minimum technical features, but they are sufficient for many users to be connected and to enjoy multimedia content. Sometimes, they even become an excellent second mobile, work mobile or as a first contact for teenagers. In any case, the Realme C20 meets that premise of: modest but complete.
The minimum acceptable in the input range
Now that the device is official, some of the previously leaked technical features are confirmed. That is, the terminal has a 6.5-inch IPS screen , and an HD + resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. This panel is protected with integrated Gorilla Glass 3 will give a display ratio of up to 89.5% . On the front it shows a notch to house the selfie sensor.
Under the hood, the performance is in the hands of a MediaTek Helio G35 processor , an old acquaintance of the entry range, which is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256 GB). The graphics, to be able to run some undemanding games on time, is hand in hand with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The performance of the terminal should be adequate for basic games or watching movies when necessary. It also offers low energy consumption, something that is an advantage in this type of terminal.
At the back we find a square module with a single 8 megapixel camera accompanied by an LED flash. Despite having a single sensor, it has shooting options with automatic focus, AI beauty mode, HDR shots, night photography, or background elimination. On the front and housed in the aforementioned notch, it has a 5 megapixel selfie sensor.
Of course, we are facing a 4G terminal, although it has enough connections such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and it comes with Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10 . It also has a large 5,000 mAh battery with a standard 10W charge. According to the firm, this ability allows you to play for 10 hours or up to 13 hours of multimedia content. It does not have fingerprint unlocking but it does offer 2D facial unlocking.
Price and date of sale
The Realme C20 can now be purchased at various wholesalers in Vietnam, the country in which it has been presented. Its price to change is close to 95 euros and is only available in the aforementioned variant of 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. At the moment we do not know Realme’s plans for the possible landing of this model in Europe.
