If you’ve played or watched a Fall Guys video (which is pretty normal by now), you’ve probably thought that it would be quite fun to play on Switch. But no, the game of the moment does not have a version for the console that possibly best suits it, something that its creators could solve in the not too distant future. In an interview by Gary Whitta on his quirky Animal Crossing talk show, Animal Talking Show , Fall Guys chief designer Joe Walsh answered several very interesting questions. Among them the one related to a supposed version for Nintendo Switch, a launch that many players (especially the smallest) are looking forward to.

The answer around the question was the following:

Right now our real goal is to make PlayStation and PC games the best they can be. We have to build trust in the community now and make sure they believe that we can support this game and make it really good.

So our job now is to say, hey community, we know what you want and we are listening to you and we are working as hard as possible to try to fix it, and to say now just “I’ll focus on bringing it to more platforms” is not the right thing to do in this development point.

That will make us more money, but that is not what we want to do now. The focus is on building that relationship with the community. “

Switch or iOS?

Assuming that the plans do not go through opening horizons with new platforms, if they do, what would be more convenient? Would it be interesting to jump to Switch? Or is it better to try a mobile version?

Considering that Fortnite has definitely died on iOS, launching a new Battle Royale as fun as Fall Guys in the Apple application store would be a magnificent move to get hold of that community of users that has been left without their favorite game.

But as Mediatonic herself affirms, it is not about making more money, but about strengthening the trust of the community with a perfectly developed game without bugs and errors caused by rushing and wanting to cover everything. The decision is completely respectable and worthy of praise, but the jump to iOS would be one of those opportunities that does not appear every day, so perhaps they are even considering it.
