Recent launches around Xiaomi have let us see interesting devices and among them the Mi 11 Lite, one of the most prominent in the entire mid-range. But also, under the Poco sub-brand that in a price had been completely separated from Xiaomi, we find the Poco F3 a terminal that since its presentation gave a lot to talk about and continues to do so thanks to its star features.
We know that both smartphones can be focused on different aspects and an audience for nothing similar, but their similarities in price and in other aspects make it difficult to find out which one is the ideal one to buy . Taking an exhaustive look at everything they offer us, we will get to know which of the two we have to stay with.
The pros and cons of designing alongside displays
The first point where we find differences in the design that beyond the small differences in the lenses, we come across a glass and metal body in the Poco F3, while the Mi 11 Lite boasts plastic and glass. The big difference is in the power
Looking at the processors, we can see that the Poco F3 boasts the Snapdragon 870 , one of the most powerful processors to date, which passes over the Snapdragon 732G that incorporates the Mi 11 Lite inside, although the latter is still very capable and more than enough for most cases, not getting carried away by the numbers on this occasion since it is capable of opening high-resource games and squeezing them too.
In the memories we find another key point since the RAM is of the LPDDR 5 type in the Poco F3 and of the LPDDR 4X RAM type in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. Something similar happens in memory, where the Poco boasts UFS 3.1 storage and, on the contrary, the Xiaomi model has UFS 2.1. Only the Xiaomi model allows us to add an internal memory card to its options, which are 6 or 8 GB of RAM with 64 or 128 GB, which contrasts with the 6 or 8 GB along with 128 or 256 GB of the Poco F3.
Very similar cameras
If what we care about above all is photography and video, in these two smartphones we have practically everything we need without differences . The biggest change is in the main sensor since the Poco F3’s camera has 64 Mpx and the Mi 11 Lite has 48 Mpx, the 8 Mpx wide angle coincides in March and continues with a 5 Mpx macro sensor in both models. .
Ahead, the selfie cameras are 20 Mpx in the Poco F3 and 16 Mpx for Xiaomi, they are highly appreciated results in all situations thanks to an aperture f / 2.45 in both. We do not find a telephoto lens in any of them and therefore we will only have the digital zoom at our disposal.

The duel of connectivity and batteries
When it comes to staying with a smartphone looking to the future, it is important to weigh connectivity and here we have a key point since only the Poco F3 offers 5G . The standard Mi 11 Lite does not include it, something that does a different version of this model in which other aspects such as the processor and therefore also the price change. The Mi 11 Lite in this case conforms to 4G without losing sight of other points.
In both models we have GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo and NFC for mobile payments along with Bluetooth 5.1 LE and infrared but without an audio jack in either of them. Turning to the battery we run into a slight difference that in the Mi 11 Lite it includes 4250 mAh and in the Poco F3 it offers us 4520 mAh , both with 33W fast charging.
MIUI 12 and Android 11 for both
As is to be expected, the new Xiaomi terminals arrive with MIUI 12 and the latest version of Android, but nevertheless their eyes are set very far, at least two other versions being updated in the two smartphones. This gives it all the MIUI possibilities, even customization in Always On Display mode since it has an Amoled screen and they are two high-performance terminals.
Prices and recommendations
Before opting for one of these two smartphones, it is important to look at the prices where there are notable differences. The Mi 11 Lite is cheaper for a price of 298 euros in the version with 6 + 128 GB, in this same option the Poco F3 rises to 349 euros, which is a difference of 51 euros with the changes that we have known .
This makes us value the difference and take into account if we need a better construction, a little more resolution in its cameras, 5G, an extra battery and above all more power in the terminal. The 50 euros difference is what these improvements cost and there will be the key, although under our recommendation the Mi 11 Lite with its thickness and weight as well as everything it has is a perfect smartphone for those who do not need 5G for now.
