Apple Will Launch 4 iPhone in Autumn 2020 with These Features

There are still about 10 months left for the presentation of the new iPhone 12 but there are already many rumors about what Apple would be preparing for the next generation of its flagship team. On this occasion JP Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee has published a note in CNBC where he gives new data on the company’s plans for 2020.

According to this analyst, Apple will launch four iPhone models in the autumn of 2020. One of these will have a screen size of 5.4 ″, two models will have a size of 6.1 ″ and finally the largest model will have 6.7 ″ inches of screen. The truth is that rumors about the launch of an iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7 ”screen have already surfaced in the mouth of several analysts and this reinforces this idea that surely lovers of small teams do not like.

4 new iPhone will arrive in autumn 2020 with these features

It is true that if we look at the rumors we have right now on the table, this prediction does not fit much. Most experts point out that in 2020 Apple’s strategy would be similar to what they have followed in 2019 with the launch of 3 iPhone and one of them at a lower price. But if we attend to this note from the company they would be thinking of launching two cheaper models with 5.4 and 6.1 inch screens, and two other models with high ranges and with a higher price that would have a 6.1 and 6.7 inch screen.

Specifically, Samik Chatterjee’s note reads as follows:

The 2H20 line will include all OLED phones, with screen sizes of 5.4 “(one model), 6.1” (two) and 6.7 “(one), expanding the screen size range from 5.8” to 6.5 “in 2019. We expect the two high-end models (one of 6.1 ″ and another of 6.7 ″) that will include mmWave support, triple camera and 3D sensor in the cameras while the ‘low range’ models (one of 6.1 ″ and another of 5.4 ″) will include support only for sub-6 GHz and dual camera (without 3D sensor).

As we can read, the four iPhone models would include OLED screens , something that we do not currently see since the iPhone 11 has an IPS panel. This is something that has been quite rumored and that would break the border between the two ranges of devices a bit and without affecting the price too much since the mass production of OLED panels makes the final price of the components reduced .

Another feature that all devices will share will be 5G connectivity with subtle differences. The most expensive range iPhone will have improved 5G connectivity thanks to mmWave technology, but the cheapest iPhone will keep the slower sub-6GHz community. According to rumors, these devices will include Qualcomm X55 modems to be able to grant this type of connectivity.

We have enough doubts about the launch of four iPhone models next year, although if the iPhone 11 has really worked, they may bet fully on this product range. If we talk about the rest of the features mentioned in this note, 5G connectivity will undoubtedly arrive quite strongly in 2020 with the new iPhone.
