The Xiaomi Mi 10 is one of the most anticipated phones of the year. Xiaomi has officially presented it in China and its first sales have gone like silk. However, his arrival in Spain could be suffering from the delays caused by coronavirus delays. While we wait, we wanted to make a comparison between the new Xiaomi and the Huawei P30.

Screen and dimensions
When we look at the screen of both terminals we see a huge difference in size. The Mi 10 reaches 6.67 inches, while the Huawei P30 is more compact with its 6.1 inches. Both terminals have FullHD + resolution, but the density of pixels per inch is higher in the P30 with its 422 dpi, compared to the 386 dpi of the Mi 10.
The Huawei P30 takes the prize to the featherweight with its 165 grams and 7.6 millimeters thick, compared to the 208 grams and 8.96 millimeters of the Xiaomi Mi 10. It is very likely that a substantially larger battery, as is the case of the Mi 10 , have a lot to do with this difference.
Processor and memory
Under the hood we find the new and almighty Snapdragon 865 in the Mi 10 , which comes accompanied by 8 or 12 GB versions of RAM. The P30 integrates the Kirin 980, which is Huawei’s most powerful processor in 2018, and present in other high-end of that year such as the Mate 20 Pro. Both terminals have variants of 128 and 256 GB of internal storage. The advantage of the Huawei terminal is that it can expand this capacity to 256 GB, while the Mi 10 no longer brings this option.
Cameras
Four rear cameras sports the Xiaomi Mi 10, led by a 108 megapixel sensor, a wide angle of 13 megapixels and two macro and depth sensors of 2 megapixels each. The Huawei P30 stands firm, with a triple camera with 40 megapixel main sensor, ultra wide angle of 16 megapixels, and an 8 megapixel telephoto lens. In the front cameras, Huawei wins with a 32 megapixel sensor, compared to the 20 megapixels of the Mi 10.
Connections
The passage of time gives Xiaomi an advantage in the connections section, since the Mi 10 is a terminal adapted to the new 5G networks. The negative part is that it eliminates the 3.5mm jack that continues to incorporate the P30. Both have technologies such as NFC and fingerprint sensor on the screen.
Battery and OS
When you look closely at the autonomy, the Mi 10 has to power a larger screen, so it has 4,780 mAh , compatible with fast 30W wireless and reversible charging. The Huawei P30 has a 3,650 mAh battery with a fast charging of 22.5W. Both move with the latest version of their layers, MIUI 10 for the Mi 10 and EMUI 10 on the P30, both based on Android 10.
And the prices?
We see how the Huawei P30 maintains the type in many technical aspects despite being a terminal that was launched in early 2019. In addition, it is currently at a better price than ever for 424 euros. The Xiaomi Mi 10 has the logical technical advance that gives the passage of time. It is expected that when it arrives in Spain, it will do so at a price starting at 599 euros, far from the 499 euros at which the Mi 9 could be purchased last year.
