When a terminal goes on the market, it still has a lot of room for improvement. It is something that we see regularly, and that largely depends on the commitment of each brand, to improve a team that is already for sale. Now, Xiaomi‘s Mi 10 series and Poco D2 Pro are beginning to receive a new update that enhances the shooting capabilities of their cameras.
On this occasion, the vice president of Xiaomi, Zeng Xuezhong, has chosen the Weibo social network again to report the news that has arrived with the MIUI V12.2.1.0 update and that integrates improvements for the camera in the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Poco F2 Pro. These improvements come in the form of new shooting options, especially for long exposure modes, which is where the most amazing results are achieved.

More shooting modes
The news has arrived accompanied by a series of images and descriptions that detail the capabilities of the new shooting modes:
- Pedestrian mode: designed for photos in the street with a large influx of public, where the main subject will remain still. The result will be a trail and blur effect for the rest.
- High beam mode: here, pedestrians and cars on a street will be out of focus in a long trail of light, while other urban elements will remain unchanged.
- Neon Mode : Capture the movement of a highway, resulting in different bright trails with garish colors
- Oil Sky: Photographing the clouds will give you an oil painting effect
- Moving water : ideal mode for waterfalls or rivers where the user can control the flow of water to achieve a spectacular static movement effect.
- Creative light painting : allows you to use a light source from the image surface, take the photo and keep the light pattern to be able to draw
- Starry sky : it is a 30-second exposure shooting mode, which allows you to capture the stars like never before, as long as the light pollution is minimal.
- Star trail: a highly appreciated effect in professional photography, which allows you to maintain a long exposure to follow the rotation of the earth and check the effect on the stars. In this mode you will need a tripod and a well-charged battery, as it requires 30 minutes of exposure.
Batch arrival
This update is coming in batches, so it won’t be available to all users at the same time. However, it is a good handful of possibilities that will make many MiFans dare to try to create more spectacular images with their terminals.
