Anthony Daniels, the soul of C-3PO
Given that the first movie in the central Star Wars saga was released in 1977, it is not so rare to think that most likely no actor has appeared in the 9 titles that are part of the story. In fact, this assumption is almost fulfilled, if not for Anthony Daniels , who does have the honor (and almost record, we would say) of being the only actor who has had the opportunity to participate in all the films of the saga, in addition from in Solo: A Star Wars Story and in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ,
Of course, most likely his face will not sound. How is that possible? Because he is responsible for giving life nothing less than C-3PO , one of the most beloved droids in the galaxy.
Daniels, an actor born in 1946 in England, in fact helped George Lucas (director and creator of the first trilogy) to create and develop the way of being of the character and his gestures, and since then, and until Episode IX – The Skywalker’s rise , has had the task of continuing to give life (and movement), in addition to his particular voice to this famous golden robot.
Although most of the time has therefore been under the droid’s suit, Anthony has also enjoyed other stellar appearances within the Skywalker saga and outside it. As for the first collection, he was responsible for playing the guard Dannl Faytonni in Episodes II and III. In the case of Solo: A Star Wars Story does not make his star character but Tak, a scammer from the planet Coruscanti who worked as a slave in the Kessel spice mines.
