Screens with high refresh rates have become essential for all those mobile phones that want to represent more of a range. In fact, there are already very affordable mid-range mobiles that have this feature. Now we precisely know that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will again have a 120Hz screen, although with better performance than in the current model.
At the beginning of this year we already knew the new Galaxy S20 with screens up to 120Hz , specifically in the case of the Ultra model. But this mode had restrictions that it seems will not be present in the top of the range of Koreans that will be presented in just a couple of months.

120Hz regardless of resolution
This year the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra already had a 120Hz screen, but it did not work with this refresh rate all the time. Rather, in order to use this high rate, it was necessary to reduce the resolution to Full HD + or HD + , when the panel has the capacity to display a 2K resolution. Well, as we have known thanks to the leakster Ice UIniverse, the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will offer the refresh rate of 120Hz continuously even when we are using the screen with 2K resolution .

Therefore, it will be a maximum resolution 120Hz mode with which the screen of this phone will become one of the most advanced on the market. Therefore, this rate will not be increased until 144Hz, but 120Hz can be used with its maximum resolution. The new top of the range of the Koreans is expected to feature a Dynamic AMOLED screen between 6.7 inches and 6.9 inches.
The same camera, but with some improvements
The same source recalled a few hours ago that Samsung’s new top of the range will have the same 108 megapixel camera. But with some differences since it will be an improved version of the sensor. A new HM3 ISOCELL sensor will be used , which will continue to have a pixel size of 0.8um , which will be accompanied by laser autofocus. A camera that will not have a TOF sensor.

In general there will not be too many news, beyond the new Exynos 2100 processor. Because it seems that what would have been its main novelty, the integration of the usual S-Pen in the Galaxy Note, will not finally be implemented, at least in this generation of Samsung’s top of the range. So the improvements seem to be more in very specific aspects of its configuration, as well as in its new design.
