Samsung‘s presentation last March 11 has been one of the most important in its history. It seems that Samsung has wanted to show a plus of innovation and power so that its flagships are not so soon technically successful. We tested the Samsung Galaxy S20
The three bets this year have certain differences with the Galaxy S20 generation. This year we cannot say that there is a “lite” or decaffeinated model. We are facing three high-end full-fledged. The phone that gives its name to the series greatly improves many of the technologies seen in the Galaxy S10. In addition and for the first time, Samsung has raised the refresh rate to 120 Hz, something that makes its fluidity more exquisite when it comes to sailing and that will also have a great impact on some of the most advanced games on the market. However, in our first contact we have verified that 120 Hz are only available with FullHD + resolution and not at the maximum that is WQHD +. This can be in post of a better processor performance and to avoid overheating and that the battery runs out early.
In our first tests we have also noticed how the sound of the S20 is noticeably superior to that of the Galaxy S20, which is also compatible with the technology of the AKG sound experts. We are facing a more enveloping and powerful sound than its predecessor. A virtually instantaneous response to finger orders is also appreciated. It is very likely that the new LPDDR 5 memory and UFS 3.0 storage have a lot to do with this speed of response.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus
This is the variant for those who want to climb one more step in the section of the screen, battery or internal memory. Recall that the standard Galaxy S20 has a single variant of 128 GB, while the S20 Plus offers additional versions with 256 or 512 GB. The terminal is slightly larger in the hand, but not as exaggerated as it may seem to go from 6.2 to 6.7 inches. Like his brother, he has the same WQHD + resolution and is compatible with 120 Hz and HDR10 +.
When making editing adjustments, the 6.7 inches of the Galaxy S20 + have an advantage over its brother. Recall that the terminal can record video in 8K resolution, but that editing work can be done later, with 4K screenshots. The feeling is of greater amplitude and comfort in the Plus variant, which also rushes the frames in an amazing way. With the two terminals in hand, the weight gain of the S20 Plus with its 186 grams can be seen liberally , compared to the 163 grams of the S20. Surprisingly, the thickness remains practically traced on both devices.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
In the Galaxy S20 Ultra is where we find the biggest difference between all the brothers. We could be talking about a cell phone from the second half of 2020, so it seems that Samsung has wanted to overflow power on all four sides so that the competition takes longer to overcome this beast. It should be noted that it is not a terminal for everyone. It is neither by size, nor by price and perhaps for many even for aesthetics. And we say this because it is true that the rear camera module is much larger than in the other models.
The screen in this case is huge, and as much as the frames are pressed, perhaps not all hands can handle it with the same comfort . We are facing a panel that reaches 6.9 inches with a weight of 220 grams and 8.8 millimeters thick. It has the same processor and technologies as its brothers, but its RAM goes up to 16 GB in the most powerful variant. We also find a battery with a 45W charge, while in its brothers it is 25W.
To make matters worse, in the cameras section, a 108 megapixel sensor is included, in addition to the 64 megapixel telephoto sensor available to the other models. This allows you to make a 10X zoom that can reach no less than 100X digital. Our first tests indicate that the maximum zoom is very well achieved , but logically it loses a lot of detail compared to a standard 30X. However, we will have to wait for our in-depth analysis to be able to draw a conclusion in this regard.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
We are facing one of the riskiest bets of Samsung but after the good reception that had the Motorola Razr, it seems that it is paid ground for success. The universe of folding mobiles is still in diapers, and it remains to be seen which format will predominate. This Galaxy Z Flip is a totally different terminal to the Galaxy Fold. Here we are facing a smartphone that is transformed into a tablet, if not Samsung offers a mobile to use, which is able to fold to the middle like a paper napkin, to reduce its size to make it enormously compact.
It offers very good sensations in the hand, since it is made of metal and glass. Its black and purple colors attract attention, although it will reach some markets in a golden color. Part of the magic of the Motorola Razr is in the new “Hideway” hinge, which allows you to fold the terminal in half, to allow a folding movement and even adjust the angle. Koreans have also detailed that it has a technology that repels dirt and dust to always ensure soft folds.
The terminal moves with absolute ease thanks to its Snapdragon 855 Plus , which is also accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. We are also struck by the tiny outer screen, which is only 1.1 inches. It may seem too small, compared to what we have seen in the Motorola Razr, but it fulfills its mission perfectly when displaying notifications or alerts.
In the hand it is not an excessively heavy terminal, since remember that it reaches 183 grams, and Motorola has achieved an admirable 7.2 millimeters thick. Its screen is 6.7 inches and when we have it open, it reminds us of other terminals such as the Sony Xperia 1 or some mobiles of the One Vision family, thanks to its screen ratio of 21: 9.

Which one do you prefer
Starting from the fact that the budget is always a key factor, we see how the differences between the Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S20 Plus are not so many, besides their technical differences and user experience is very similar. For its part, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is Samsung’s demonstration of how far it can go when it decides to manufacture the best high-end of 2020 . It is a terminal with technologies that can be kept fresh for several years and that surely has a lot to say in the photographic section.
The Galaxy Z Flip on the other hand is a totally different bet and that seeks to finally make the mobile phone market succeed . If we take into account the first numbers and acceptance of the Motorola Razr, we have little doubt that the Z Flip will be a bestseller, and will scare the ghosts past of the Galaxy Fold.
