Today all mobile manufacturers have professional tools when using the camera app, allowing you to balance white balance, focus or ISO levels manually before taking a photo. Some also add some tools to the video recording mode but nothing comparable to what we can do with photo captures.
The Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S20 , as there is still not much certainty about what its final name will be, can return a camera function to the devices of the brand that was lost with the first update of One UI and resulted in a wave of criticism for part of the users, understandably.
Diving in the code of the latest Android 10 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, references to a couple of features that will probably be introduced with the next Samsung flagship have been discovered. One of those features is the ability to record videos using the Pro mode of the camera app.

The return of professional recording
Without knowing very well the reasons, Samsung eliminated the video recording in Pro mode with the update of One UI for their mobiles but fortunately and, after listening to their customers, the brand seems willing to reintroduce it with the Samsung Galaxy S11 although it is not It knows if the manufacturer will also take video recording in professional mode to smartphones that are updated in the coming months.
It is to imagine that after premiering in the new top of the brand range, at least, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10 should have it, since Samsung tends to launch the new camera functions of its new mobiles to its generation previous devices.
This professional mode joins other new camera functions for the Samsung Galaxy S11 that the boys of XDA Developers have already discovered before, such as the one called Director’s View that will allow you to block the focus on a subject while recording a video and keep the focus on that subject even when switching between normal, telephoto and ultra wide angle lenses.
There will also be a mode called Single Take Photo , which will apparently take photos and videos automatically when it detects optimal moments, such as someone smiling or kissing.
Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy S11 could also record videos at 8K resolution.
