The Mi Watch Color is a review of the original Mi Watch that was announced last week, but whose official features have not been made public until today, at which time we have also been able to know other details of the Xiaomi smartwatch aimed at the public Young as is its price.
Recall that at the end of November, Xiaomi launched its Mi Watch based on Wear OS with AMOLED screen and support for eSIM cards, which allows to make use of the connectivity options of the watch without having to depend on the data connection of our mobile phone.
Now some of its features are found in this new watch of the brand, although there are also others that disappear.
Mi Watch Color Features
The main novelty that we find in this new Mi Watch Color is the essence of a circular screen that more closely resembles the device to Samsung and Huawei watches than to the Apple Watch on which the device launched a month ago was based. In addition, it has dozens of different forms of customization thanks to the option of exchanging its silicone strap.
On a technical level, the Mi Watch Color has a 1.39-inch (454 × 454 pixels) AMOLED circular display , with water resistance and 5 ATM splashes and has a 420 mAh battery that, according to the manufacturer itself, gives the smartwatch an autonomy of up to 14 days through standard use.
Among its functions we find great classics such as sleep recording, fitness monitoring and 10 different sports sports measurement modes. Like other Xiaomi watches , the Mi Watch Color has a heart rate sensor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, barometric sensor and ambient light sensor.
At the level of connectivity, the expected. We have Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC to make online payments and it is compatible with Android 4.4 and higher and iOS 9 and higher. Finally, its dimensions are 46.2 x 53.3 x 11.4 mm.
Price and availability
This new Xiaomi Mi Watch Color at the moment can only be purchased in China and, as with the first Mi Watch, there are no details about the commercialization of the Xiaomi smarwatch in Europe and Spain, although we do not believe they take too long to arrive.
At the moment, the Chinese brand watch can be purchased in Black, Gold and Silver color options, and is priced at 799 Yuan, which leaves the change slightly below 100 euros .
