Samsung continues to unveil new members of the 2020 Galaxy A family . This time it was the turn of the Galaxy A31, a terminal that we knew of its existence thanks to the previous classic leaks, and that has now just been presented by Samsung.
The Galaxy A series ranges from entry-level devices such as the recent Galaxy A11 to more powerful and therefore higher-priced terminals such as the Galaxy A71. However, the Galaxy A31 is located in a more intermediate way with moderate technical benefits but with very interesting elements in the camera or battery section.

Display with integrated sensor
The terminal mounts a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution . It’s a panel called Infinity U by Samsung, which means it has a drop-shaped notch to house the front camera sensor. The good news is that it includes a fingerprint sensor on the screen, something that is gradually penetrating lower cost terminals.

MediaTek brain
Under the hood we find a MediaTek Helio P65 processor , an eight-core chip focused on the mid-range. It’s funny to see the resurgence of MediaTek on devices like this, where we might have expected an Exynos. The terminal is accompanied by options of 64 and 128 GB of internal memory and 4 or 6 GB of RAM.

Four rear cameras
When we turn it around we see a module with four rear cameras, led by a 48 megapixel sensor , an 8 megapixel wide angle, and 5 megapixel depth and macro sensors. At the front and housed in the notch, we find a 20 megapixel selfie sensor.

Huge battery
The terminal has the main connections, including Bluetooth 5 or NFC. It also comes standard with Android 10, within the One UI 2.0 layer of Samsung. However, the most powerful section may be its battery, since it has no less than 5,000 mAh that also has a fast charge of 15W.

Price and date of sale
At the moment, Samsung has not announced the price or release date of this device. What we know for sure is that it will arrive in black, blue, white and red. It is expected that its launch is imminent, so we will be very vigilant and update this news as soon as we know its price, and Samsung’s marketing plans.
