Microsoft Flight Simulator will Include All the Airports in the World

When we said that Microsoft Flight Simulator was going to offer unprecedented realism we were never going to imagine that it could reach that level. The company has announced through an official video that will include all the airports in the world so that we can make stops anywhere in the world.

The world at your feet

Why limit something with a figure when you can offer all that exist in the world? That’s exactly what Microsoft has done with the airports of its game, since Flight Simulator will include all the airports in the world without exception, with the savage that 37,000 of them have been manually edited. From the most rural airports to the international mastodon of the great capitals of the world.

There will be no absent airports, so, to work on them in an easier and more reliable way to reality, they used satellite images and official documents to create an accurate representation of the airports, respecting runway signs, traffic lanes and to the parking areas of the planes.

Sick Level of Detail

With this they have managed to make airports look incredibly good, sometimes being replicas of the originals at extremely sick levels. But even with so much detail and care, recreations need something else to make them look real, and that’s where the setting comes in. For this they have included numerous activities on the track, such as controllers, transport buses and luggage trucks. Depending on the size of the airport there will be more or less movement, so that we will have the real feeling that there is life in the airport itself.

This involves many animations such as the rise of luggage, the placement of the catwalk to enter the plane, tankers with fuel and each and every one of the activities that are lived daily on the runway of an airport. The best thing is that there is a customization menu in which players can customize the amount of staff available on the track and manage the different tasks that are performed when it comes to land.

When are we going to be able to play Microsoft Flight Simulator?

Microsoft does not stop throwing news dropper, but for now it still does not show pledge on the launch of its game. Seeing the amount of details they are taking into account and the development time they are taking, there is no doubt that the work they are doing is incredible, but considering that its launch is scheduled for 2020, it is expected that it will take time or early announce something about it.

We will see if in the coming weeks a new communiqué brings us out of doubt or if on the contrary we will have to wait for E3 to know more about it.
