We have around the corner the first top-of-the-range mobiles of 2021. They will probably be the Galaxy S21 and the Xiaomi Mi 11 . We don’t know too many things about the latter, but little by little some details are leaking out. And today we have learned a new detail about its camera, which advances us that it will be unique in the market.

Having four cameras has become quite common in the mobile market, even in the cheapest ones. Hence, manufacturers are focusing on offering better sensors in these upper-mid-range configurations, as will be the case with the Mi 11.
A great ultra wide angle camera
As we say, many things are not yet known about Xiaomi’s next top of the range, but today at least we know what its ultra-wide-angle sensor will be. And it seems that they will have the largest sensor of this type on the market so far., Because as Digital Chat Station has revealed in China, this sensor will have a high resolution of 48 megapixels . An unprecedented resolution in a sensor of this type, and that we have only seen similar in phones like the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which has a 48-megapixel telephoto. Therefore one of the great novelties of this phone will be the quality that it can offer in panoramic photos .

In addition, far from the usual in this type of ultra-wide-angle sensors, it will have a good pixel size of 0.8μm , so they can take very good photos also in less favorable light conditions, something almost unthinkable today in most of mobile phones on the market. If we add to this that it will be a sensor that also has improved stabilization , we may finally be able to have high-quality panoramic photos on a mobile phone. A Xiaomi Mi 11 that would have a 108 megapixel main sensor, so the configuration would be quite similar to that of Samsung‘s top of the range.
Releasing the Snapdragon 875
Xiaomi’s new phone for the high-end will also debut the new Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 875 , which we will also see in the S21.

Not much else is known about this smartphone, but at least what is expected is that it will be presented in late January or early February, more or less like Samsung’s new range caps. It certainly seems that the photographic section of the new Xiaomi Mi 11 is not going to disappoint, if we pay attention to what we have known now.
