Invisible in Warzone: the Spirit of the Forest Skin Trick

Invisible in Warzone

Bad news for those who are desperate with the many bugs that exist in Warzone. To those already known (and partly solved), now we must add an error that affects a certain skin that can be purchased in the store. And it is that, if we did not have enough with the cheats, now we will have invisible players.

What about the ELOKO skin?

Many players are reporting a terrible error that directly affects the Warzone gaming experience, and that is that as you can see below, there is a skin that allows you to become invisible at certain distances. This is something that obviously directly affects the game, since if an opponent equips himself with this aspect, it will be impossible to see him in the distance, which could result in an unexpected counterattack.

What skin is invisible?

If, throughout the game, you come across a player wearing a wooded camouflage mesh and a bathing suit, there is no doubt, that player is taking advantage of the display error that makes you invisible.

The skin belongs to the ELOKO pack that can be found randomly in the Store (you won’t be able to find it that easily), costs 1,800 Call of Duty points and includes the new Forest Spirit skin for the Grinch operator, among other cosmetic accessories.

The skin is quite comical, since it dresses the operator in a rather peculiar way, however, the worst of the matter is the collateral damage it produces in the middle of the game.

As the YouTube user Scop3s has been able to demonstrate, the Forest Spirit skin suffers from a curious bug related to the drawing distance. Due to its design, it appears that the game does not render the skin at certain distances (as it does with brush and grasses), which results in complete invisibility of the player wearing the skin.

After the tests carried out by Scop3s, we can see how in the default view the skin remains invisible from a distance of 34 meters. Closer to that the player is perfectly visible, but if you zoom out, he magically disappears. In the case that you use aiming with a reflex sight or without any type of optics with magnification, the minimum distance to see the enemy will be 55 meters.

And in the event that you are pointing a 4x telescopic sight at it, the distance will extend up to 125 meters, although at shorter distances we could see some parts such as the head or the weapon.

Does it happen on all platforms?

The problem lies directly in the skin, although it does not behave in the same way on all platforms. In the case of PCs with large specifications, the texture drawing distance is greater, so we could see the enemy at a greater distance than those previously mentioned (measurements obtained on a PS4).
