What has Apple released betas about?
Well, everything new and without exception. We find that the company has published the first beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 and watchOS 8. These betas will be compatible with the same devices that will be compatible with the final versions, as announced by Apple during WWDC . We remember that these are still trial versions and we will have to wait until September or October to see all these systems launched for the general public. How to install the beta if you are a developer
First of all we must remember that these are unstable versions that can bring with them numerous bugs such as applications that do not work correctly, unexpected reboots, excessive battery consumption and even visual errors in the interface. If, despite knowing these risks, you are determined, you should know that you can install any of the betas on your device, although in the case of the Apple Watch there is no going back , unlike the rest of the devices in which you can return to a stable version previous. In the event that you are an authorized developer, you will simply have to enter the Apple developers website by accessing your personal account with your credentials. Once you have accessed, you must scroll to the section that is dedicated to downloads and get the configuration profile. You must follow the instructions in Settings in order to finish installing it. When you have everything ready and the iPhone has restarted, go to Settings> General> Software update. Once this is done, you will simply have to update in a rudimentary way, although it must be borne in mind that the servers may be saturated and it may take a long time to download and install your iPhone or any other device.
Install iOS 15, iPadOS 15 or macOS Monterey without being a developer
If you are not a developer as we have commented previously, there are other methods to be able to perform the installation although at your own risk. As we have commented previously, we are in a beta available for developers and that is unstable and that is why it should not be installed on the main iPhone to avoid problems such as loss of information. To carry out the installation you simply have to follow the following steps:
- With your iPhone, iPad or Mac go to betaprofiles.com .
- If you go down the page you will find a section dedicated to all the beta versions of the different operating systems.
- Go to the profile you want to download and click on ‘Install Profile’.
- Accept the responsibility agreement in which you assume the installation risks.
- Install the profile in the Settings app.
- Restart the device.
- Go to Settings> System> Update.
- Follow the normal installation process.
Keep in mind that if you are doing this installation on the same launch day, you will encounter many problems, such as a crash on the Betaprofiles website. This is also in addition to the fact that the download of iOS 15 in its first beta can be delayed due to the limitation in bandwidth by Apple.
