Without waiting for it, Huawei has made official the Huawei Y7p , a terminal that has been launched in Thailand and that arrives to offer a new alternative within the mid-range. As a highlight we find a new smartphone that leaves Google services aside, thus continuing with the project that Huawei has in its hands.
The mid-range has more and more good things to offer and this Huawei Y7p is no exception. It has a triple lens behind it that does not fear the tough opponents, since it has the artificial intelligence that has made Huawei cameras recognized. To start talking about this new smartphone, we mention what we find inside, where the chosen processor is the Kirin 710F that comes to compete directly with the Snapdragon 710. In the configuration of the device we are faced with a single option of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage , although in this case we can expand it through MicroSD.
Its IPS LCD screen offers 6.39 inches in an HD + resolution that can be somewhat short, although with a 90.15% advantage of the front. The battery is 4,000 mAh, a large number but without offering fast charging, something very demanded.
Cameras and connectivity
We know their cameras, where in the back the bet is triple with a large main sensor of 48 Mpx and aperture f / 1.8 to capture images in low light, accompanied by a depth sensor with 2 Mpx that will improve the portrait mode, In addition to a third lens with 8 Mpx wide angle to photograph the widest spaces. In the front, its camera is 8Mpx with an f / 2.0 aperture and is perforated in the upper left corner.
On the back of the Huawei Y7p we also find a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. It incorporates audio jack on the bottom and a MicroUSB connector to charge the terminal, although without fast charging, just as we did not find NFC . However, it does include Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, 4G VoLTE and Bluetooth 5.0. A whole system that works on Android 9 with the EMUI 9.1 customization layer, waiting for it to be updated later to the latest version. As we mentioned above, Google services are not included, instead we find the new Huawei Mobile Services still under development.
Prices and departure date
We still do not know if this model will finally arrive in Spain under the name Huawei Y7p or will do it as some media report as the Huawei P40 Lite E. Anyway for now it can only be purchased as a presale in Thailand from 4,999 Thai baht, what that change is about 150 euros. We will have to wait to see if it finally arrives in Spain and we can get this model in Aurora Blue and Midnight Black colors.
