Free Fire Max is now available for download worldwide on both Google Play and the iOS App store. On paper it has similar content to the original app but works as an independent mobile application from Free Fire, which offers players the same gameplay with some improved graphics and, most interestingly, the arrival of the Craftland mode that allows players to customize and create your own maps to play with friends.
This is a new creative mode that allows players to design their own scenarios to unleash the action that the game boasts. Craftland mode is an exclusive Free Fire Max feature so players playing regular Garena Free Fire will not be able to play.
Free Fire’s Craftland Mode
First of all we have to warn you. This new mode to create maps in Free Fire is not free: to create a scenario, you need to buy a card from the Creation Workshop in the Free Fire store whose cost is 100 diamonds. Luckily, the game will give away the first cards for free, however, if you run out of them you will have to buy new ones or wait to get new ones in the different events of the shooting title.
The Free Fire Craftland workshop will allow you to freely create content and create a Free Fire at your leisure to play with friends. Of course, although anyone can edit and create maps, you will need a personalized room card to play with friends.
When it comes to creating scenarios, the mode offers a number of elements for players to select and customize the map to their liking in a fairly intuitive way. You will find a “Tycoon” style screen where you can select different tools to bring what you have in mind to life. You will be able to modify the terrain, add objects and establish different buildings. Just select items from a menu and place them where you want. At the moment the number of elements to be placed is limited, but it is to be imagined that new options will soon be added to this mode.
Once you have completed the customization of the map , you have the option to set the modes that will be available to play all the battles and skirmishes you want. This is where, in addition to the usual Clash Squad mode, users can also play other custom modes such as Cold Steel and Big Head.
