Both models have similar characteristics in terms of the speakers themselves: 50 mm diameter neodymium magnets with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 KHz, sensitivity of 107 dB and impedance of 32K ohms at 1 KHz.

They differ in terms of the characteristics of the microphone, because although the pattern of both is unidirectional, the Corsair’s microphone has a better frequency response, better sensitivity and they also have a very important characteristic, which is noise cancellation , something of what Razer headphones lack. As for the microphone, by the way, both have a fixed rod but that allows it to be raised, and also in both when we do , the microphone is automatically muted .

Both the Corsair VOID PRO Wireless and the Razer Nari Essential are wireless headphones that use 2.4 GHz wireless technology, giving them a maximum distance of 12 meters. They also both have the same battery life, 16 hours , and both are virtual 7.1 surround sound headphones, the former with Dolby Digital technology and the latter with proprietary THX technology. Again, they are even in this regard.

Each of them uses the brand’s unified software and allows the same modifications to be made (obviously each in its own way because each software is unique). Another difference here is that the Corsair headphones have RGB lighting, while the Nari Essentials do not (they have the normal Nari that do have lighting, but at a higher price).

Corsair Void Pro Wireless

The biggest differences are in the design

We have already seen that technically, both are very similar wireless gaming headphones and whose only fundamental difference is that the Corsair have a better microphone and RGB lighting, neither more nor less.

But the biggest differences are found in terms of the design of both. While the Nari Essentials have a rounded earmuff design , the VOID Pro Wireless is an irregular but more oval-shaped polygon that better conforms to the natural shape of the user’s ears. On the other hand, the Razer have a pendant headband design that automatically adjusts to the shape and size of the head, while the Corsair have the typical adjustable headband.

From our point of view, the VOIDs win in terms of earmuff comfort, but it is the Nari Essentials that win in terms of headband comfort. In any case, both are extremely comfortable headphones and that we can use for hours and hours without any problem.

So which of the two is more worthwhile?

At HardZone we have tested both models, and really in terms of sound quality they do not have to envy each other, although the Corsair headphones have a slightly better bass level (although they have the same technical characteristics it also has to do how they have placed the speakers and the speaker box). Essentially, the Corsair are clear winners because their microphone is far superior, especially for its noise cancellation.

Is it worth paying 20 euros more for a better microphone? It depends on what you use it for. If you are one of those who is always playing with headphones while talking to your friends about Discord then do not hesitate and go for the Corsair, it will be worth it. However, if you want a comfortable and quality wireless gaming headset but don’t want to spend more money than you should, then the Razer should be your choice.
