Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset: Price and Availability

A matter of a few months ago, we commented that Bose was going to enter the gaming arena with what it does best: creating audio products focused on the needs of this type of user. Now the first proposal comes true and the Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset arrives. Headphones that combine the characteristics that made this classic manufacturer’s proposal stand out with everything that a gamer demands.

Bose has not been complicated much with these new headphones recently presented and designed for lovers of video games. And the truth is that it is even appreciated, because basically they are the same Bose QuietComfort 35 II that all or most of us already know. Headphones that, among other key features, offer a truly top noise cancellation system. So much so that together with Sony and its WH-1000XM4 they have been the two reference brands in this type of technology.

Well, in the same way that Herman Miller did adapting one of his most emblematic chairs together with Logitech, to give the gamer everything they ask for, it is now Bose that does it by adding a microphone to the QC 35 II . This one in theory will offer clear audio capture free of external noise.

For everything else, the headphones are the same and we like that. Because they offer a sober design that will appeal to all those who move away from proposals with very striking colors in colors or full of colored lights that can bother many so much.

The microphone connects to the 3.5mm Jack connection where the QC 53 II’s audio cable was connected for those times when you can’t use Bluetooth connectivity or are out of battery. Which means that then the PC must also be connected via cable. To do this, it also integrates a small base that in turn is connected to the PC via USB.

The base is an additional control with a rotary dial that allows you to adjust the volume in most applications you use and the operating system itself. And finally, incorporating a button with which you can adjust the level of your own audio that they let through to monitor your own voice and listen to yourself. This way you will know whether or not you are yelling too much when speaking.

Little more, as you can see in the images, it is not at all groundbreaking in terms of design and only that extra of the microphone is what makes it intended for the gamer who seeks the best listening experience and the rest of gaming headphones does not convince him.

Price and availability

Along with the integrated support of the Amazon and Google assistant (Alexa and Google Assistant), the headphones are compatible with the Bose mobile application and the rest of the features that can be enjoyed there such as spatial audio, etc.

Available for advance purchase, these Bose are priced at $ 329 . At the moment, they do not appear on the Spanish Bose page, but they should not take long to be available also at a price that in euros would be around 349 or 379 euros (official price of the current QC35 II). Although we hope they will soon drop to the 250 euros that the Bose QC 35 II cost right now on Amazon.

You can also connect an external microphone to the latter, like many other similar proposals on the market. Although they may not have the same quality and processing advantages that these new headphones could offer.
