3. Candy Crush Saga: colorful matching puzzles

4. Solitaire: a familiar card game
Solitaire – Card Games offers a digital version of the familiar card-sorting game. Look at screenshots before installing: a simple layout matters more than an impressive number of themes.

5. Brain Test: puzzles with a twist
Brain Test by Unico Studio uses riddles and playful, unexpected solutions. It has ads and optional purchases. Skip it if you prefer clear rules and predictable answers.
6. 2048: combine numbered tiles
Swipe to move the board, merge equal numbers and try to reach a 2048 tile. Each move can also reduce the space available, so planning the board is part of the fun.

Make the phone comfortable before choosing a game
- Try the game for a few minutes at a comfortable brightness and volume.
- Increase system text size if helpful, while checking whether the game actually follows it.
- Distinguish an advert’s install button from the game’s own controls.
- If offline play matters, test the downloaded game before a journey; features can need a connection.
