Huawei has already started the development of the EMUI 11 beta for the P40 and P40 Pro as well as for the Mate 30 series. Now Huawei Central advises that these phones will be accompanied by older models. According to the latest information, the beta version will begin very soon for the P30 series and the Mate 20 series and could begin to arrive in this “pre” software format this month.
According to the information available to the media, the development of the EMUI 11 beta for the P30 and Mate 20 has already begun and Huawei will soon offer a beta version for the P30 and P30 Pro, keeping the P30 Lite out, as we already knew . In addition, the beta version for the Huawei Mate 20, Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Huawei Mate 20 X should also start immediately.
EMUI 11 based on Android 10
The Mate 20 series is still included, but we already said last week that models equipped with a Kirin 970 processor, such as the Huawei P20 and Huawei Mate 10, would not receive any more software updates. However, there is still a small ray of hope because it must be remembered that EMUI 11 is not yet based on Android 11 , but on Android 10, so not if you have one of these phones in your possession I would completely rule out the update.
Currently the EMUI 11 beta for the Huawei P40 , the first mobile phones of the brand to be able to install this software, has already begun to be deployed in Europe, specifically in Germany. As soon as we know more we will inform of the availability of the beta of the Huawei operating system for the P30 and Mate 20. It is to be imagined that the update will begin for the members enrolled in the company’s beta program in China and other regions, having to wait in Spain for a few weeks.
