In the end the leaks have been true. Amazon today announced two new products related to Smart TVs and home entertainment. The first are two series of Smart TVs with Alexa integrated , and the second is the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max , with everything you need in a media player and which, oddly enough, did not have the previous model.

Fire TV Stick 4K Max
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max comes with a multitude of new features in terms of power and functionalities. For starters, it now has a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor, 8 GB of internal memory and 2 GB of RAM , thanks to which it is now capable of processing everything necessary to play the streaming game service Amazon Luna. . With the new chip, the TV Stick is 40% more powerful than the previous model, opening apps faster and browsing more smoothly.
At the level of functionalities, we found WiFi 6 connectivity for the first time thanks to the MediaTek MT7921LS Wi-Fi 6 chip, something that will be appreciated especially when playing with Luna thanks to the lower latency, higher speed and greater stability offered by this standard. It also supports HDR10 + and Dolby Vision standards in picture, as well as Dolby Atmos in sound.

Alexa is still present, with a dedicated button on the remote to be able to interact by voice with the assistant and control the content. As for streaming platforms, we have shortcuts for Prime Video, Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Music. Among its apps are YouTube, DAZN, Atresplayer, Mitele, RTVE Play, Orange TV, Movistar + and much more, still missing the HBO or HBO Max app, something that should not take long to arrive soon.
Its price is 64.99 euros , and it will be on sale from October 7 in Spain , and can now be reserved . If you are not in a hurry, it may be advisable to wait for Black Friday to catch it on sale, since it will surely lower the price somewhat. It may even be a good time to grab the cheapest models, which will have even more aggressive sales for sure.
