Android 11 , Google’s latest operating system, has been official for just a few weeks but only a couple of phones can enjoy the final version of the software. Samsung is already working on bringing the system, adapted under One UI 3.0 , to its phones. Which Samsung smartphones will be updated with this layer of personalization?
The brand has not yet published any official list of mobiles that will be updated to Android 11 but that does not mean that we do not know with greater or lesser accuracy all the smartphones of the brand that, sooner or later, receive the new system Korean operative.

Currently the brand has already opened the beta program, limited to the Galaxy S20 series, but the stable update will be rolled out on dozens of phones. Samsung launches dozens of mobiles each year and although it has not shared an official list of devices that will receive the One UI 3.0 update with all its news, all the phones launched in the last two years should be able to make the change.

Samsung phones that would be updated to One UI 3.0
Samsung offers 2 main operating system updates to most of its phones, although it recently announced that its new devices would be guaranteed up to 3 years of updates). So if you have a Samsung Galaxy device with Android 9 Pie and One UI 1.0 as a customization layer, THEORETICALLY it is eligible to receive Android 11.
With this “mantra” in mind, this is the preliminary list of phones that will likely receive the stable version of One UI 3.0 based on Android 11.

When will the update start?
With the One UI 3.0 public beta about to begin in the S20s, it will still be a few months before the stable update is available. Samsung released the beta version of One UI 2.0 in October 2019 and released the stable version at the end of last December for the Galaxy S10, so it is likely that we will also get a similar timeline this year. In this way, since the first beta of the device is published, it will likely take 3 months to see the final version, which would begin to reach the first mobile phones in early 2021.
