Xiaomi has launched up to three different generations of its Redmi Note in just a year and a half, even. A range that has become one of the most popular and that is more massive than ever, with models such as the Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro or Note 9S . We have now learned that many units of these phones have a major manufacturing defect.
Many times we have told you some tricks to prevent the photos of our mobile from being blurred or with worse quality, and one of the most common is to keep the camera clean, or what is the same, the glass that covers the lenses sensors. Well, the problem detected now is related to it.
Dust in the camera of the Redmi Note 9
Today we echo numerous comments on the networks related to several models of this range, and that have seen how the cameras of their phones are having a common problem. We are talking about the dust accumulated on the main lens of the phone’s camera , which we usually understand as the main sensor. It seems that the common problem that many users are “reporting” is that there is not an optimal seal of the camera glass, which makes it easier for dust to get into it.
In the images you can see in all these sensors how there is a lot of dust, while the rest of the sensors are free of it . Maybe in a single phone it could be something more casual, but in this case there are many users who are complaining about these problems in the phone’s lenses. The mobiles affected at the moment are the Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro and Note 9S. Apparently, only the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is the one that so far is not having problems of this type.
Not something new
The first complaints about this problem in the camera of the Redmi Note 9 already became noticeable a couple of months ago, something that the Xiaomi division in Indonesia acknowledged that it was happening and that it had affected only some units. Now these complaints have become widespread and it seems that from Xiaomi, in an extra official way they are recommending users to request a replacement for their phones.
Although there is no statement about them, from the Xiaomi forums some moderators have recommended it to the affected users , the replacement because they understand that it is a quality control problem.
