Xiaomi is doing a great job with its new phones but it is aware that nothing in this life is perfect. For this reason, through the user community, it assumes that MIUI has errors and works hand in hand with the brand’s clients to put an end to the errors of their mobiles.
Currently MIUI 12 and its previous versions are already quite polished versions of the eastern firm’s software but there are still Xiaomi models that continue to show problems , especially in the case of some Redmi phones. For this reason, the brand, in collaboration with users, reviews the errors of which it is aware and warns of future updates to solve them.
Problems in mobile phones of the Chinese brand
Although most of the errors have been located on specific phones, there is a problem that is beginning to spread to many devices of the brand. Apparently the Find device function stops unexpectedly and causes the mobile to restart and this is something that happens with models from all regions.
Xiaomi assures that an update of MIUI 12 is already being worked on to fix this uncomfortable failure, although provisional versions will be released soon in the form of a patch to alleviate this error.
Redmi Note 9
- Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) does not work in version V12.0.2.0.QJOIDXM. This is due to an ARCore patch introduced for MediaTek processors, which will be removed and a new build will be done to eliminate the problem.
POCO X3 NFC
- The system volume is low in versions V12.0.4.0.QJGEUXM and V12.0.4.0.QJGMIXM. Some audio parameters were modified to attenuate the vibration of the rear; however, some users found the volume to be lower than usual.
- Discord application freezes on versions V12.0.3.0.QJGEUXM, V12.0.3.0.QJGMIXM, V12.0.2.0.QJGINXM, V12.0.2.0.QJGEUXM, V12.0.2.0.QJGMIXM. The solution has been incorporated into the stable branch, which will be compiled soon.
Redmi 6 Pro
- System performance affects daily device usage in version V12.0.2.0.PDMMIXM. A slight patch has begun to be released while we continue to wait for feedback from users to know if the problem is solved or not.
Redmi Note 9 Pro
- The phone experiences random reboots in versions V11.0.1.0.QJZEUXM, V11.0.3.0.QJZEUXM, V11.0.4.0.QJZEUXM, V11.0.5.0.QJZMIXM, and V11.0.6.0.QJZMIXM. Qualcomm has opened a new case to work on this problem and is awaiting the company’s response to apply a patch in future updates.
