This is the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Max , a device that allows you to play content in 8K resolution and that makes it difficult for other devices such as the Nvidia Shield or the Apple TV 4K. It was time to renew, and Xiaomi has decided to do it in a big way. The new multimedia device for televisions of the Chinese brand is now committed to 8K resolution . This is possible thanks to the fact that the equipment has HDMI 2.1 support and a new processor.

Inside this new Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Max we find an Amlogic S905X3 quad-core SoC at 1.91 GHz accompanied by Mali-M31 MP2 graphics. The device also has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
Connectivity and audio
Regarding sound, this device is compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS . We will be able to control the device with our voice using its remote control, as was already the case in other models of this same series. As for connectivity, we have dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an audio jack. It also has a USB 2.0 slot so that we can connect storage devices or peripherals directly to the computer without the need for special adapters or dongles .
MIUI-TV
Regarding its operating system, Xiaomi returns to normal. A few days ago, the brand launched the Xiaomi TV F2, a television that has FireOS as a system. In this case, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Max will return to the typical MIUI TV interface that was already present in previous models.
A tough rival for the Apple TV that first has to reach the West
As we said at the beginning, the product has been launched without presentations. It has appeared directly on Xiaomi’s Chinese website, so at the moment, it can only be purchased in its native country. The price at which this Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Max has come out is about 499 yuan, which is equivalent to about 70 euros to change .
At the moment, we do not have a confirmed date that guarantees its arrival in our country. However, we assume that this device will arrive sooner or later, as Xiaomi’s position with this type of product in Europe is very good. What we cannot guarantee is that it will reach the same price, since equipment of this type tends to become a bit more expensive when it reaches our continent.
In any case, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4S Max is going to be a tough rival for quite established products like the Apple TV 4K , the Nvidia Shield TV and the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max .
