The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is one of those products that offer a lot for what they are worth. In addition, it has a lot of tricks with which we can get the most out of it. It is also very likely that the day will come when you need to unlink the Mi Band 4 from your mobile. Today we are going to see how to do it simply and in a matter of seconds.
There are many reasons why we may want to unlink the Mi Band 4 from our mobile. In general, one of the main reasons is why we are going to sell or change our current mobile. It is also usually the usual reason when something fails or does not work properly. In that case, untying the bracelet and returning it to its factory values will make everything work correctly again. The process can be carried out in a matter of seconds, and it is not necessary to carry out any type of backup as is usually the case with our mobiles.

What happens when you unlink?
When you unlink the bracelet, it will be as new and we will need to link it again with the mobile so that all its functions are active again. We should not be afraid of losing our personal data or progress, since by being registered in My Fit or with an external app such as Google Fit, we will be able to access our progress instantly. The same happens if we use an alternative third-party app, which allows you to create an account and save the entire historical record.

How to do it
As usual, to unlink the Mi Band 4 from our mobile, we will have to use Mi Fit . This means that it is recommended not to delete the app before wanting to perform this reset. Once inside the app, click on our profile picture and then on the name Xiaomi Mi Band 4.

Then we will see the complete list in the options menu, and we will slide until we see the last option called “ Unlink ”. Pressing on said button a message will indicate that the bracelet will stop working after unlinking. Also and for security reasons, we will have to confirm again that we want to perform the action, clicking again on “Unlink”. After a few seconds, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will shut down and start again restored to factory settings, which means that we will have to re-link it as we did the first day.
