Windows 11 Can Be Installed on Android Mobiles

Last week we witnessed the official arrival of Windows 11 by Microsoft. Although, the truth is that it will not be available to the general public until the end of this year. However, the first preview version of this operating system is already available for Windows Insiders which has been called Build 22000.51.

With this preview version, different users are allowed to test different functionalities. Although the most interesting of all is that the ARM compilation of Windows 11 has also been found with which some developers have been able to load this operating system on some Android phones, as has been the case in the OnePlus 6T or the Xiaomi Mi 8.

This ARM64 version is intended to be installed on those devices that have compatible Qualcomm processors, so it does not prevent developers from being able to port this software system to other devices that are not initially compatible. In addition, just a few days ago we were able to witness how it reached other mobile devices such as the Lumia 950 XL and the Raspberry Pi 4 .

However, now what has attracted attention is that some managed to start the previous version of this system in the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T and Xiaomi Mi 8. And in addition to getting these Android devices to successfully turn on with this new system operational, as reported by the folks who have made it possible, some features like touchscreen, USB, and GPU are able to work.

However, other functionalities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the sound of the speaker itself have not worked. Although this is a great advance, and although it is far from being perfect, we have already seen how this Microsoft operating system has already been run on a mobile device that had Android.

In addition, the team in charge of this action has been testing different games. And surprisingly, the OnePlus 6T can run quite a few PC titles , such as GTA IV, CS: GO, Far Cry, Minecraft, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, SimCity 5, among other games. However, we are still a long way from being able to fully enjoy this Microsoft system on our mobile devices, but it is quite curious how the different developers have managed to take this point through the ARM compilation.
