How to know who sees your Tiktok videos
TikTok is in the process of adding viewer history to the posts you make on the Network, according to a test shared by Matt Navarra on Twitter. The app is testing a new feature that allows users to see which of their followers have seen their videos, and at the same time, people you follow will be able to see that you’ve seen their posts. A company spokesperson has confirmed this, claiming that it is a new feature that is not yet available to everyone , since it is part of a limited test with selected users.

The screenshots indicate that TikTok refers to the feature as ” view history .” They also show that you can disable the feature at any time from the Settings menu. Also, it appears that the history will only be available for seven days from the date a video was posted and then it will disappear, although we don’t know if this can be configured in the app’s settings in any other way.
Almost like Instagram, but not
If you don’t feel comfortable with this new social network tool, you can always opt out of viewing history. Of course, be clear that you will not be able to see the viewing history of your own content either. This is what distinguishes the TikTok feature from Instagram and Facebook stories or the like, where it is turned on for everyone by default and cannot be disabled.
As with any other test feature coming to any app, it’s unknown when it will reach the rest of us or if TikTok plans to roll out this feature more widely. It may be that in the end it just stays in a test and never becomes a reality.
Currently the most similar thing you have in the app is the possibility of knowing who has seen your social network profile . If you have the feature turned on, you will see an eye icon in the top right corner when viewing your own profile. By clicking on it you will be able to know which TikTok users have seen your profile in the last 30 days, just like the rest of the app users you will be able to know that you have seen their profile.
