Samsung Phones Not Registered on Network: How to fix it

Samsung mobiles, like those of any other brand, are not free from bugs that can undermine the experience. Sometimes they can be fixed by a simple update or by touching some adjustment within your options. One of the most common but annoying mistakes that we can find in a Samsung mobile is the one that indicates that our mobile “is not registered on network”.

And we say that it is one of the most annoying mistakes because it leaves us absolutely incommunicado. That our mobile cannot register on the web means that for some reason it has not been possible to establish a connection with our mobile operator , so we will find ourselves not only without coverage to make or receive calls, but without the necessary data to connect to the Internet or use messaging programs like WhatsApp.

The solutions

Automatic Network

The first check we will have to do goes through the network settings of our terminal. For this we go to Settings / Mobile Networks. Within this menu we will have to check that the “Select Network Automatically” box is checked. Otherwise, the terminal may not have any network assigned and the connection will always be failed.

Adjust SIM

Similarly, a habitual mismatch of the SIM card due to a fall or blow is one of the main causes of this problem. To do this we must remove the SIM card and reinsert it. Then we restart the terminal and wait to see if the device no longer shows the message.

Hardware problem

In the same way that a swipe can disrupt the SIM card, the internal receiving antenna for the mobile network signal can be affected. If the error occurs just after a stroke and switching between different cards does not work, we can think about making a visit to the Technical Service so they can check all the internal components.

Mobile not released

If we have bought the mobile recently, the device may be blocked by the network, that is, it may not be released. It is rare to find a similar case today, but some terminals used with some time in the market may present this problem. Although years ago it was the fashion business, now we can find a lot of web and programs that will allow us to rid our mobile. An example we have in Yoigo, which has enabled a space on its website to release terminals blocked by network.

IMEI blocking?

When we have tested all of the above, we can begin to think that the terminal may be blocked by IMEI, which prevents it from being connected to the network of any operator. This also usually happens when buying a used mobile that we have not had the possibility to test previously. In that case there will be no other choice but to contact our operator or the person who has sold us the device.
