While the company is still immersed in bringing One UI with Android 11 to the latest flagships, there are still other models that are waiting to receive the previous version, namely One UI 2.5 . Just a couple of days ago, the notice jumped for the owners of the Galaxy A50s, a model that is not officially sold in Spain. However, One UI 2.5 has reached many other devices, more modern and more veteran, such as the Galaxy Note 9.

What’s new in One UI 2.5 for the Galaxy A70

As reported from SamMobile, the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy A70 is beginning to roll out in Europe, specifically in the Ukrainian market. Everything indicates that if no serious errors are reported, it will be launched in the rest of the European markets where the terminal has a presence. Among the main novelties of this version, new functions are added for the Samsung keyboard, such as a new mode to be able to write more comfortably when used in landscape mode, as well as improvements in YouTube search. Also, Bitmoji are compatible with Always on Display Mode and the messaging app receives new SOS functions to share location in case of emergency. In addition, users of the Galaxy A70 will now have new information when connecting to Wi-Fi networks regarding the quality of the connection.

Availability for all

As we say, the update has yet to pass the process of successfully deploying to its first destination, it could be a matter of days before it lands in Spain and other European countries. However, we can frequently check if the update is available, from Settings / System Updates and checking if we have pending updates. Otherwise, we will only have to wait patiently for our turn to proceed with the update. As with any new version, it is recommended to back up our most precious data before updating and have a battery greater than 30%.
