One of the great changes in technology has come from the hand of virtual assistants and among all those that we are going to find, Bixby is one of the alternatives. This companion is present in Samsung mobiles and with it we can schedule tasks and perform countless options just by using our voice, for which the command “Hi, Bixby” is all we need if we do not encounter a problem that prevent us.
Previously we were able to know the most frequent errors to use Bixby on the mobile, although in this case they are directly related to voice control, which allow us to take advantage of it without having to resort to direct access and make its use much more comfortable. If Hi, Bixby is not able to hear us , we will not be able to use it, something for which Samsung has prepared a series of solutions.
How to activate Hi, Bixby with your voice
When you first start using Bixby on mobile, you’ll need to turn on the option for Bixby voice control to work. In case of not doing it, we will have to do it a posteriori with a simple step that will allow us to say “Hi, Bixby” and in tenths of a second have the assistant attentive to our orders and instructions. We can do this in the following way:
- We access the Bixby application, which is in the application drawer.
- Then we touch on the three points in the upper right and choose Settings.
- The next thing we have to do is tap on “Voice activation”.
- Finally we confirm the activation on the button.
Hi, Bixby never detects my voice
Something very common and that should not despair is that Bixby and its remote do not detect our voice. It is the main problem of “Hi, Bixby” , although as you can see, Samsung itself is aware that it does not always work as it should and to avoid this it offers us the possibility of adjusting the sensitivity to recognize the command.
This option is in the same place where we were previously able to activate the Hi, Bixby command. We just have to go back into Bixby> Settings> Voice activation and at the bottom we will have the possibility to adjust the sensitivity. If you have problems using the Hi command, Bixby recommends using the high level, so the problem should not repeat itself.
With the screen off Bixby does not work
Although we have followed each and every one of the previous tips, the Hi Bixby command does not work with the screen off if we have not activated an option that is not activated by default on the mobile. Like all the previous ones, it is found in Bixby> Settings> Voice activation, but in this case we will touch the button where it says “Use with the phone locked.” In this way we can take advantage of the assistant even when the mobile is on the table and we are not using it.
