Samsug Galaxy M02s: Technical Characteristics and Price

Although all eyes are on the Samsung Galaxy S21, which will be officially presented on January 14, we do not take our eyes off Samsung’s cheapest bets for 2021. One of these bets is the Samsung Galaxy M02s, a modest device that it has just been officially announced by Samsung.

As we say, all the power, the cutting edge of technology and elegance, are put into the flagships, where Samsung demonstrates everything it is capable of doing. However, the cake is distributed in the cheapest ranges, where all manufacturers fight fiercely for the cake, with those terminals that do not reach 300 euros. One of the first Samsung launches in this regard is the Galaxy M02s, which we already know everything about. We are facing a modest terminal, which lays the foundations of what Samsung considers the entry range of 2021.

Main technical characteristics

The device has been unveiled in Nepal, and will also be unveiled soon in key markets for Samsung such as India and most likely globally. We are facing a terminal that has a 6.5-inch TFT LCD screen, with a 6.5-inch Infinity-V design and a modest HD + resolution. Its brain is no less modest, but it allows it to fulfill all tasks and provide solutions to less demanding users, as it integrates the Snapdragon 450 chip. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, which can be expandable via microSD cards, an advantage that is still present in the input range.

Turning it around, we find a triple rear camera, with a 13 megapixel main sensor , a 2 megapixel macro sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the selfies are held by a 5 megapixel lens. It has advanced camera functions such as ISO control, Auto Flash, Digital Zoom, HDR, or exposure compensation. It also doesn’t lack the main wireless connections like GPS, 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, or USB-C. It has a generous 5,000 mAh battery and fast charging of up to 15W.

Price and date of sale

The terminal has been presented in black, blue and red colors, and is priced at 15,999 NPR, which is about 125 euros. At the moment we do not know Samsung’s international marketing plans for this device. However, it could seem like a great bet in the 2021 entry range, so that the Korean company can continue to battle its main rivals in the sector.
