How to configure
On Realme terminals, you can access emergency contacts without unlocking the device, since it allows you to configure up to six contacts. In order to access this configuration, we will have to enter Settings / Privacy / SOS Emergency. Inside we can configure different aspects with personal health information and emergency contacts to which we can notify in case of needing help. In the same way, we can configure a default help message that will be sent to all contacts.
That is, in the information section we must enter data such as blood group , possible allergies, medications, if we are an organ donor and other medical notes. In the section of the contacts we will introduce those that we consider important to notify ourselves or so that they can be notified by the emergency services. We can also complete this information in more detail with information such as our name, surname and address.

Once the option is configured, the icon with a “red cross” that allows access to this information even with the screen locked. This allows the emergency services to have more help if we need medical attention. On the other hand, and if we can notify ourselves, we can notify 112 or emergency contacts by pressing the power button 5 times.
Other alternative uses
In addition and although it is not its native use, the emergency button that gives access to emergency contacts can be extremely useful in case of loss of the mobile, since the person who finds it will be able to notify our contacts, without having to have to unlock the device or access our personal data.
