Two of the mobiles that have been presented this year 2020 and that have not left anyone indifferent are the Google Pixel 4a and the OnePlus Nord . Both models integrate equipment that can be identified more as a high-performance mid-range than actually something better or worse. Although what makes them really interesting is the set of specifications with the price.

Design and displays
The first thing we look at when we see the two models is their design, part of which we begin with the comparison. One camera against four and there are surprises
We may think that more is synonymous with better results, but Google has shown us countless times that this is not the case. Google’s artificial intelligence wins the battle with the results of its 12 Mpx lens, with which we get a perfect portrait, realistic colors and corrections without having to do anything. We cannot deny either that the OnePlus cameras with 48 Mpx, macro and portrait mode are good, but Google can do practically the same with a single camera.
Ahead of things does not change, here Google has 8 Mpx and meanwhile the OnePlus Nord offers us 32 Mpx that give the worst results than we can expect. In addition, the Nord adds an ultra-wide angle to the front that allows more people to be included in the photo, but we will have to have very good light situations.
Battery and connectivity
We start with the fingerprint sensor where OnePlus adds it under the screen and that is not always the best decision because it will be slower than the Google Pixel behind. However, the Nord has 5G , while this version of the Pixel 4a manages with the classic 4G. NFC, GPS and Bluetooth 5.1 LE are also added in both, although only the Pixel 4a maintains the audio jack.
On the battery, the software that we will know later has a lot to say, with 3140 mAh the Google Pixel allows us to reach the end of the day with the optimization of the system, but the OnePlus Nord with 4115 mAh and taking into account the 90 Hz it can stay short. The Pixel’s 18 W fast charge is basic, and that is improved by OnePlus with 30 W.
Pure Android vs OxygenOS
There is no doubt that having Android on a Google Pixel has nothing to do with what they offer us on other mobiles such as the OnePlus Nord. The experience is completed with an enviable speed and optimal results, allowing us to enjoy the many advantages of Android 11 . Meanwhile OxygenOS from OnePlus is one of the fastest and with some interesting additions, which some users may like more and others less.
Accurate and buy recommendation
Before making a decision, you have to know their prices, which we will take into account in the 128 GB version to be in the greatest equality of conditions. The Google Pixel 4a with 389 euros on its official website offers us a complete device as we have seen and meanwhile the OnePlus Nord is more expensive for 10 euros , specifically 399 euros.
If we have to keep one of them, we will have to assess whether we want a compact mobile since the Google Pixel 4a is the ideal option, for other aspects such as the battery, cameras or Android Stock we also choose the Google Pixel . However, we can prefer OxygenOS and a larger screen, reasons to go for the Nord.
