Now, those aspects that make this mobile a unique phone for its price are clearly three.
Its screen, which although it is very similar to that of its predecessor, now has a refresh rate of 120Hz that aligns it against its main alternatives. We also find a battery that charges very fast, but which is precisely the same as its predecessor, with 4500mAh of capacity and 65W of charging power, which allows it to be fully charged in just 35 minutes . But without a doubt its great improvement, and the characteristic that places it in the major leagues, is its processor, which is the most powerful of the moment. And it is that this phone has a Snapdragon 888 processor , which is what really makes the price and performance ratio of this phone so good.
What about your competition?
Well, it all depends on what we understand by competition, because the first thing we must assume is that a mobile of 500 euros for a very good ratio of benefits and price that it has will never be able to exceed a mobile that costs twice as much. And that’s because there is an aspect in which although this phone performs at a high level, it is not the best, and we are talking about the camera .
Although this phone offers an excellent selection of three 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel ultra-wide or 2-megapixel macro sensors, it will never be able to match for example the camera of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.But if you look at its real competition, that to the one that even in the camera can equal or exceed, we realize that there is no better alternative for this price and with its characteristics. For example, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is one of its main opponents, and although its camera is 108 megapixels, it is not better than that of this Realme GT, and in other aspects it is only surpassed by the resolution of its screen.
But we are also talking about the fact that the Xiaomi terminal is more expensive, because it costs almost 700 euros in most cases. And if we look at mobiles that cost the same, or more or less, the reality is that there is no color either. And is that for what the Realme GT is worth, less than 500 euros, there is no phone with Snapdragon 888, and no better camera or other specifications. Phones like the Samsung Galaxy A72 cost very little less, but fall far short of features. The reality is that at the price of the Realme GT you will not find anything like this phone, so yes, it is as good as it is painted for this price.
