Problems Between Poco X3 and Xiaomi Mi Band: Solutions

The Poco X3 NFC is one of the most attractive mobiles that have reached the Spanish market in recent weeks and, as is often the case with every new Xiaomi phone, sales have accompanied the expectation caused by the phone. Another thing that also usually happens is that these smartphones, the result of some internal failure or a wrong configuration, do not work as users expect.

Problems Between Poco X3 and Xiaomi Mi Band

It is not that the mobile is presenting battery failures, performance problems or errors in its camera. It simply happens that those who have the Xiaomi Mi Band in their possession, especially the Mi Band 4, are seeing how it is impossible to receive notifications from the mobile on the bracelet in an adequate way.

After working correctly on other models and having reviewed all the configuration options, a good number of Xiaomi customers complain in the company’s forum that it is impossible for them to receive WhatsApp notices, messages or other apps on the bracelet.

Good after doing everything that can be done, I still do not receive notifications (except calls) to the Band 4, I have tried to unpair, restart the bracelet, I have given all the permissions that can be given (for example the unlocking works) and There is no way for me to skip notifications for example from Telegram, any suggestions? (This notice appears in My Fit and I do not understand it because all the access permissions to notifications are activated)

Other users claim to suffer from the same problem:

Hi! The exact same thing happens to me also with a MiBand 4… I don’t know what to play anymore, and it still doesn’t work.

Uo I have come to think that the problem is the mobile software and fixed that is that, it cannot be anything else …

The problem is even repeated with other wearable devices of the brand such as the Amazfit Bip:

I have an Amazfit Bip and it has been impossible to get the notifications to arrive with the MiFit app. In my old mobile it worked correctly, but with the Poco X3 impossible. Finally I have installed the Zepp app, developed by Amazfit and very similar to the MiFit, and with that they work correctly.

What is the problem … and the solution?

At this point there are two possible solutions to a problem that seems to be determined by the configuration of the Poco X3 NFC’s location and the treatment that apps do in the background of the phone’s location.

There are many users who claim that by installing the Amazfit Zeep control app, compatible with the Mi Band, the problem is solved. You can download it for free from the Play Store .

I have managed to get the notifications in MiFit to work for me after resetting the clock to factory settings. reinstall Zepp, uninstall it and reinstall MiFit, although I guess the important thing has been to reset the clock.

Another solution is to check in the Battery optimization settings that Mi Fit can still access the location and remain active in the background since, if it is canceled, it is when the problem with the notifications of the Mi Band is replicated.
