Summer is here and many take the opportunity to enjoy a few days of sun, beach and sea. And how could it be otherwise, they do it accompanied by their beloved mobile devices. However, surely more than once you have decided to leave it in the car while you were quietly on the beach. And all with the aim that it does not spoil or you lose it inadvertently. The bad thing is that no matter how much you have thought about taking care of it in the best way, keeping it away from sand and salt, the truth is that leaving a smartphone in the vehicle could be worse for the useful life of the device.

If we are lucky enough to have found a place in the shade or to have parked the vehicle in a closed garage, we would not have to worry so much. But even so, the reality is that the interior of a car reaches high temperatures, especially in summer, and much more if it is in the sun. On these dates, vehicles parked on the street can reach temperatures well above 60º C , even much more, since it will also depend on the color of the vehicle.
In addition, if you did not know, the batteries of mobile devices when turned on inside a vehicle can reach between 70º C and 90º C. So not only would we be putting this component of our mobile at risk, but even a lithium battery can burn.
Although it is not usually the usual thing, surely you have ever accidentally left it for a few minutes and when you pick up the terminal it is practically on fire. This could lead to a continuous degradation of the battery of our terminal, because over time, if we continue to leave it inside the vehicle at these temperatures, the autonomy will be less and less.
And it will not be the only problem that we have to face when leaving the mobile inside the vehicle. If it has been for a long period of time and with high temperatures, it may end up damaging other essential components of your smartphone. As could be the case with your screen or another component such as the processor.
In case you still prefer to leave it there to relax while enjoying the beach and the sea. We recommend that you put it in a place where it is not directly exposed to the sun and, above all, that it is completely off. So that in this way it does not overheat even more for the simple fact of being on.
