Last month Apple introduced the new generation of mobile devices. Not all were released at the same time, as while the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 were released a week after their introduction, the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini were delayed. Today is the day that they can be reserved together with the also new HomePod mini. Here we tell you everything you need to know.
Time to reserve new products
The reservation of the new iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 mini and HomePod mini begins today from 2:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) through the Apple website. Before this time, the store will be closed to include these new changes and start the reservation. You must bear in mind that if you want to have one of these new iPhone you must be quick to make the reservation and have the necessary money in the account. It is important to note that you can always make financing to buy a new iPhone, although in these cases it may take time to make the confirmation.
When will the device be charged?
As we have commented previously, you must take the money into account since at the time of making a reservation the amount of the product will be retained. However, in no case will you be charged for the money until the device is shipped or when you go to pick it up at the store. The delivery dates will depend on the stock that is available. That is why you have to be one of the first to make the reservation in case you want to receive it next Friday, November 13, which is when they are launched on the market. Otherwise, the date may be delayed until there is sufficient stock. If you choose financing as a payment method, you must have the required documentation at hand such as your income statement or ID.
To record it, you can choose to have it sent to your home without any additional charge from next Friday or go to an Apple store for it. In the latter case, you should bear in mind that some Apple Stores in Spain remain closed as a result of the SARS-COV2 pandemic. In this situation you must choose forcibly home delivery.
Change the reservation, is it possible?
Once the reservation has been made, you can only cancel it. This is the last possible method in case you made a mistake when choosing color or storage. Changes are never allowed so you will have to cancel and re-reserve the model you want. In the event that you make a collection in the Apple Store, you can always make a consultation with the employees so that they can try to make the change for the model you are looking for in particular, although this is not something that is guaranteed since it will depend on the available stock.
