One of the fashion games is undoubtedly Call of Duty: Modern Warfare , especially its Battle Royale mode called Warzone . The main claim is undoubtedly that this mode is free, but also adds the handicap of being tremendously addictive. The problem is that it is a demanding game that needs high FPS rates to be competitive, so what can we do to play it at 240 FPS with an NVIDIA GPU ?
With over 50 million players currently, no one can say that Warzone has not become a mass game. The speed at which everything happens on the battlefield decides whether we are going to die or live, so the difference from having 60 FPS to 240 FPS is really a point in favor of those who carry this last configuration.

There are several factors to recommend a high FPS rate in this game:
- Clarity, understanding and smoother movements.
- Improved reactivity.
- Get to see the enemy before.
Logically and having seen the hardware requirements that Activision demands, the better hardware we can activate or deactivate more or less effects. This depends on each PC, so we will have to generalize to offer a standard configuration that can be used by all types of users.
The first thing that we have to take into account and unless we shoot at extremely long distances as if we were a sniper who uses a submachine gun, performance prevails over image quality. With this premise in mind we start with adjusting the settings.
The first setting that we have to be clear about is the use of the full screen, any other can intercede in the performance and obviously that is not what we intend. Secondly, we will select a refresh rate of 240 Hz in a fixed way.
The next step is to reduce the rendering resolution to 90% of the original resolution of our monitor. This will cause the graphics quality to hardly deteriorate, but instead will boost performance a lot.

Bullet hits and sprays are useful to see if enemies have passed by, so we recommend leaving them on.
The tessellation is also subjective, although it puts more weight on the textures and therefore makes us lose performance, it is useful for rocks or any surface with volume, especially if we are one of those players who go to the ground to shoot at minimal.
The shadows of the maps instead can be left in normal, they are not really a clear advantage in terms of performance. On the other hand, both caches are, which will help us make the game go much better in terms of smoothness and loading of ingame textures.
Particle lighting is not relevant as such and can be left low. We will obviously disable RayTracing, Ambient Occlusion, and SSR for obvious reasons.
Although it seems counterproductive, the sharpness provided by Anti-Aliasing is very grateful and has a lot to do with other configuration options and its visual improvement, so we will set it in SMAA 1X.
The rest of the options or disabled or zero will be the best possible settings.
NVIDIA Control Panel Configuration
The last step is to enter the NVIDIA control panel, go to the game profile and activate Image Sharpening in its standard configuration of 0.50 for Sharpen and 0.17 for film grain. After all this, we will only have to save the settings and we recommend restarting the PC, after which we can start Warzone and see the performance increase with little loss of visual quality.
