One of the fashion games is undoubtedly Call of Duty: Modern Warfare , especially its Battle Royale mode called Warzone . The main claim is undoubtedly that this mode is free, but also adds the handicap of being tremendously addictive. The problem is that it is a demanding game that needs high FPS rates to be competitive, so what can we do to play it at 240 FPS with an NVIDIA GPU ?

With over 50 million players currently, no one can say that Warzone has not become a mass game. The speed at which everything happens on the battlefield decides whether we are going to die or live, so the difference from having 60 FPS to 240 FPS is really a point in favor of those who carry this last configuration.

There are several factors to recommend a high FPS rate in this game:

Logically and having seen the hardware requirements that Activision demands, the better hardware we can activate or deactivate more or less effects. This depends on each PC, so we will have to generalize to offer a standard configuration that can be used by all types of users.

The first thing that we have to take into account and unless we shoot at extremely long distances as if we were a sniper who uses a submachine gun, performance prevails over image quality. With this premise in mind we start with adjusting the settings.

The first setting that we have to be clear about is the use of the full screen, any other can intercede in the performance and obviously that is not what we intend. Secondly, we will select a refresh rate of 240 Hz in a fixed way.

The shadows of the maps instead can be left in normal, they are not really a clear advantage in terms of performance. On the other hand, both caches are, which will help us make the game go much better in terms of smoothness and loading of ingame textures.

Particle lighting is not relevant as such and can be left low. We will obviously disable RayTracing, Ambient Occlusion, and SSR for obvious reasons.
