NVIDIA GeForce Now: PC Games on Android Mobiles

NVIDIA , the renowned company dedicated to graphics cards, also has an interesting service called GeForce Now . If you do not have a high-performance computer, you may not have access to certain video games, or the best possible experience with them. However, this streaming game service , similar to Stadia, allows you to enjoy top quality games on restrained performance devices. And NVIDIA GeForce Now is available as an Android app.

For Android mobile devices, NVIDIA GeForce Now is an application. This application simply gives users access to computer games that can be enjoyed streaming; that is, a server runs them with the required hardware, but we play them on Android devices with tight hardware thanks to streaming, just by having a compatible Internet connection. Precisely because of this it is similar to Stadia, because the hardware that runs the videogame does it remotely, but it is served to our device in Internet streaming, with reduced latency and a smooth experience.

NVIDIA GeForce Now are (some of) your computer games, but on Android mobiles

When opening the NVIDIA GeForce Now application on an Android mobile device, regardless of whether it is a smartphone or a tablet, the ‘library’ of titles will be synchronized with that of our computer. There may be video games from Stream, Origin, Battle.net and other platforms. Only some of them are compatible, but of these – the compatible ones -, if we have them already purchased, then we can also enjoy them on our Android device.

This entire collection of video games will be available in our GeForce Now application, from NVIDIA, and we will only have to select which one we want to load to start playing it on our Android mobile device. However, in many cases we will be recommended to connect certain peripherals to the mobile in order to properly enjoy the video game. Because, although NVIDIA offers on-screen touch controls, virtually, the experience is not ideal and has many limitations.

Note:   NVIDIA GeForce Now is currently in beta. You can download the APK of the application from external servers such as APKMirror, and some users work for them, but a priori it is limited to users from South Korea. The operation, in case NVIDIA allows us to access the service, seems to be correct in WiFi connections. On mobile networks, stability can be easily compromised.
