If less than a week ago it launched the 5G variants of the Redmi Note 9 in China, now they have leaked two new brand phones that may be global versions of precisely these devices.
Among the new models that the manufacturer presented in his native country, the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G stood out for being the cheapest Xiaomi smartphones compatible with the latest connectivity standard. Many have wondered if these models will reach other regions, Spain included and, until now, we could not put our hand on the fire for it.
First of all, a Redmi Note 9T 5G has appeared, on the NBTC certification website, but Google Play Console also advances two new devices that could be the international versions of the Redmi 5G. At the moment we can call them Redmi 9 Power and Xiaomi Mi 10i.
What are these Xiaomi phones?
As I know in the Google Play Console list of Mi 10i and Redmi 9 Power , the specifications of both devices coincide with their respective Chinese counterparts, that is, with the Redmi Note 9 4G and the Redmi Note 9 5G. There is not much more history, we would be facing a change of name, pure and simple in order to sell these two phones internationally, since the model numbers of the devices are the same, except for a couple of letters.
Knowing this, the Redmi 9 Power will be a new 4G model that will join the Redmi 9 family in Europe boasting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, 4GB of RAM and a Full HD + screen, along with Android 10 as the operating system, we assume that with MIUI 12 as a personalization layer.
The Mi 10i . For its part, it will have an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, which allows the mobile to connect to 5G networks, which will be combined with 6 GB of RAM and a Full HD + screen, also working with MIUI 12 based on Android 1st.
Now we only have to wait for the next movements of the Chinese brand to see if these new Xiaomi smartphones , both in their 4G and 5G versions, go on sale sooner rather than later in our country, with Asia competing with smartphones like the Realme 7 5G or the Moto G9 Play.
