Motorola is one of the firms we have our eyes on, as it is expected to make very important announcements, including the rumored Motorola Nio, which is now back on the scene.
The different certification bodies, through which smartphones must pass before they are put on sale, are usually a kind of unofficial “confirmation” of what has been previously rumored. In these lists we can discover technical data of terminals are presented, including the model number, processor, battery or Android version.

The one known as Motorola Nio 5G , has attracted attention, since it is called to be a very interesting terminal. This is because it will integrate last year’s Snapdragon 865, which could make it launch at a more moderate price but with sufficient power to be considered a full-fledged high-end . Now this new model has passed through various certification bodies including the FCC and TUC Rheiland.
In the FCC (US Federal Communications Commission) report, we can see which terminal confirms the model number XT2125-4, previously listed by Geekbench and attributed to the Motorola Nio 5G. It is also detailed that its battery will reach 5,000 mAh with a 20W fast charge. Geekbench, revealed that this new Motorola will arrive with Android 11, the Snapdragon 865 and that it will be accompanied by at least 8 GB of RAM, although some sources indicate that it will have variants of 12 GB of RAM.
What we expect and when it will arrive
Previous reports suggest that it will be a terminal with a FullHD + screen and a 90 Hz refresh rate, and four cameras with a 64 megapixel main sensor, signed by OmniVision. At the front, a double camera is expected, with 16 and 8 megapixel sensors. In addition, 5G, it will be compatible with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and GNSS.
Motorola has not given clues about the Motorola Nio, but it is only one of many others that we have seen leaked in recent weeks, as part of the brand’s strategy for 2021. In this specific case and having passed the certification of said organizations, It is possible that its launch is not very far in time, and we may know it officially during the first quarter of the year.
