Many problems can be solved by simple adjustments, or by performing the relevant software update. But other times, there are conflicts with any of the multiple applications that we have installed on our Samsung mobile, so we must use the Safe Mode.

What is Safe Mode

It is a method of starting the Android operating system thinking about when they arise in system operation. The main feature of the Safe Mode is that the system boots without the applications downloaded or installed by the user, but with all the files necessary to function properly.

This will prevent malicious applications , those that malfunction or have conflicts (generating problems) can be loaded at the beginning to make changes to the system. In this way we can review them one by one to find the problem and eliminate it if necessary.

How to activate it

In order to activate Safe Mode we must first turn off the mobile completely. Then, press the power key and lower the volume at the same time, until the mobile is turned on. When the device has started correctly we will see the message “Safe Mode” in the lower left of the screen. On some older phones, access is done by pressing the power key and the physical menu key at the same time.

How to deactivate it

The easiest way is to turn off the phone and turn it on again. If it does not work on the first attempt we must try again. The system should start correctly in normal mode.

Problems with Safe Mode

Sometimes problems can occur, when the terminal continues to start the system in Safe Mode. If the mobile has a removable battery, we must turn off the phone, remove the battery and wait at least 2 minutes to turn the device back on. In Samsung phones with non-removable battery, we will have to let the battery drain completely to turn on the device in normal mode.

If the mobile still indicates in Safe Mode, we will have to turn off the device and turn it on while holding down the volume up key. Sometimes, the fact that the mobile does not leave the Safe Mode after all attempts, may be because the user has made some modification of their Android operating system (Rooteo).
