Motorola One Vision vs Samsung Galaxy A70: Comparison

The mid-range of 2019 left us some really impressive battles. Processors, the number of sensors and their capacity, as well as new and increasingly refined charging technologies, made the purchase decision more difficult than ever. The first thing that strikes us is the screen, which is 6.3 inches in the case of the Motorola One Vision and 6.7 inches in the Galaxy A70. Both terminals offer FullHD + resolution, but the One Vision reaches 432 dpi compared to the 393 dpi of the Galaxy A70. In addition, the One Vision sports a hole in its screen, which is more in line with the current trend of the mid-range and high-end of 2020, while the A70 sports a drop-shaped notch to house the front sensor.

As for the weight and thickness, we have mixed feelings , since the Motorola One Vision is less heavy with its 180 grams, compared to the 183 grams of the A70. However, its thickness reaches a generous 8.7 millimeters compared to the 7.9 millimeters of the Galaxy A70.

Processor and memory

If we lift the hoods we find the seal of Samsung and Qualcomm. The Motorola One Vision opted for the Exynos 9609 , which according to different tests and performance tests, is somewhat more efficient than the Snapdragon 675 of the Galaxy A70 . However, both terminals have given very similar scores in the famous AnTuTu test, reaching close to 177,000 points in the case of the Motorola One Vision and 170,000 in the Galaxy A70.

Both come with 128 GB of internal memory, but in the case of Motorola, we can expand this storage to TB, while the Galaxy supports microSD cards of up to 512 GB. A great difference is also found in the RAM, since the One Vision keeps 4GB and the Galaxy A70 reaches 6 GB.

On the back of the Motorola One Vision we see a double rear camera, with 48 and 5 megapixel sensors, while the A70 has a triple camera with 32 + 8 + 5 megapixel sensors. The front sensor housed in the hole of the One Vision screen is 25 megapixels, with 32 megapixels being the one housed in the notch of the Galaxy A70.

Connections and battery

Both have the most necessary connections, including Bluetooth 5 or NFC. However, at the security level there is a change when it comes to unlocking both devices. The Motorola One Vision has a fingerprint sensor located on the back, while the Galaxy A70 already integrates it on its screen. Although the two went on the market with Android 9 Pie, the update to Android 10 is a fact and they should also have Android 12 in the future.

In the battery section there is also an important difference that benefits the Galaxy A70. The Samsung terminal has a huge 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The One Vision for its part has a 3,500 mAh battery and is also compatible with fast charging, in this case 15W TurboPower.

Price difference

In prices we also see a noticeable difference. The Motorola One Vision can be ours for about 240 euros, after its reduction of months, since its initial price was 299 euros. For its part, the Galaxy A70 is available on portals such as Amazon for about 365 euros.
