Motorola Edge Plus: Video and Images of the Beast of Motorola for 2020

We have been accustomed to Motorola playing in a different league than other smartphone manufacturers. The company has specialized in launching mid-premium mobile phones with unique features such as Motorola One or the latest Moto G8. Now the firm, according to the latest leak, would be thinking of returning to the high range, worth the redundancy, in style.

So far we have heard some siren songs around the Motorola Edge Plus , the next flagship of the manufacturer but it has not been until now when we have been able to “put a face” on the phone. OnLeaks , via PreiceBaba , yesterday shared smartphone networks that allow us to anticipate a totally premium-looking semartphione equipped with three rear cameras, curved screen edges in “waterfall” and the smallest hole for a selfie camera you’ve ever seen.

These images of the Motorola Edge Plus advance a design that reminds us a lot of the new Samsung Galaxy S20 presented last month as the aforementioned curved edges and the hole that houses the front camera.

At the same time that these renderings have been made public, the media has posted a video with a 3D model of Motorola’s phone on your YouTube channel that highlights some of the key specifications of its design. Cascade appearance on both sides with flat top and bottom, a thickness of 9.5 mm (somewhat above normal), dimensions of 161.1 x 71.3 x 9.5 mm, screen of 6.5 inches and a headphone jack.

With what features?

Curiously we have not heard too many leaks before this on the Edge Plus before. The only thing we have at our disposal is a supposed specification sheet leaked weeks ago that suggests that the high-end smartphone would land on the market with a Snapdragon 865 as a CPU, accompanied by up to 12 GB of RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery. Of course, if the rest of the features accompany and the price remains within reasonable margins, we would be facing a great mobile aspirant of the year.

We expected to know the new Motorola flagship in the MWC, doubting whether it would be Motorola Edge Plus or the Moto Z5 but after the cancellation of the event, we have not returned to obtain information from the brand regarding the launch of its new or new top of range.

Hopefully we can confirm these features and design over the next few weeks, since the mobile should take too long to see the light officially.
