The battery is the essential component of our phone to be able to have a wide autonomy throughout the day. Now MIUI has a new one, which is going to be more precise, and which is beginning to reach the first terminals.

This is already being tested on several mobiles, these are the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 , Mi 11 Lite, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10, Redmi K40 Pro +, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
What will this new indicator offer?
As we say, you do not have to look at the way the remaining battery is displayed, but at the reliability of the process, and the algorithms used to show those percentages. And that is where Xiaomi has worked to be able to show the most reliable data possible when calculating the remaining battery and the prediction of how long it will last. This indication of the remaining battery will not be based only on the current charge, but will show a result based on data such as the impedance, the temperature of the battery, and the accumulated aging over the years of use.
With all this information, it will show us more detailed data, and a battery life closer to reality, which is probably lower than what it would show us with the classic processes. To access this new section with the battery information, it can be accessed as follows:

- Press on energy and battery saving

This new method will also alert us if we are making improper use of the battery , keeping the charge at extreme levels, below 40% or above 80% for a long time. All these factors will be taken into account to advise us on the best way to conserve the battery in a healthy way.
