There are several components of the Windows system that could be considered as keys in the day to day with the PC. Among these we find the Taskbar , one of the elements that we use the most, so any improvement in it will always be appreciated.

That is why Redmond’s own firm tries to make it more comfortable and functional over time, as it happens now. In fact, for a few months it is said that Microsoft is working on improvements for the main components of the system.
In fact, this changes could begin to appear with the Sun Valley update of Windows 10 whose launch is scheduled for October or November of this year. As proof of all this, new clues are now appearing about some changes that will reach the aforementioned element, the Taskbar. Here, from what has been seen, some notable improvements appear for the contextual menu of this important section, as we are going to see. This is something that is especially important if we take into account that it is one of the most used features of the operating system.
Changes coming to the Windows Taskbar
Thus, what Microsoft is now preparing is the way in which the elements that we can find in this section. In particular, we refer to how the available options will be seen when we right-click on certain applications. Among these we can find some of the importance of Notepad or Word . Therefore, to give us an idea of what we are talking about, now when we right-click on a local file open with a program from the Taskbar, we will see a new option. Actually this will allow us to open the location of the file directly so that we can interact with it.
But that is not all that we will find in this section. At the same time and because of what is already being seen in the trial versions of the system, Microsoft also plans to eliminate some options from the context menu of this section. So when right-clicking on the Taskbar, we no longer find the option of the task view button, or the Windows Ink workspace.

What’s more, Windows search has also been removed from this section. Therefore, as it is easy to imagine, what you want is to simplify the use of this contextual menu. That does not mean that these functions that we are talking about are going to disappear. We say this because Redmond is moving them to the System Configuration application, a section that does not stop growing. Also with this it is possible to group more customization options here, and reduce clutter in the Task Bar.
Of course, those who have not activated Windows 10, will not be able to access these configuration options from that moment. The reason for this is that if the system is not activated, it is not possible to access the customization options of the software .
